Literature Text
A dove drenched in an iron cage,
So much, so more that she wanted to escape,
To spread her wings and fly,
That was her goal.
A tear slide from her eye,
From the burning coal.
She always dreamed she'd one day leave,
Above all,
Especially misery.
Here she stands,
Day after day,
In that same iron cage
Where she must stay.
So much, so more that she wanted to escape,
To spread her wings and fly,
That was her goal.
A tear slide from her eye,
From the burning coal.
She always dreamed she'd one day leave,
Above all,
Especially misery.
Here she stands,
Day after day,
In that same iron cage
Where she must stay.

This is a series of poems I one day started writing. I am the dove. And the cage is the place where I live.
